Just wanted to let you all know what is going on around here. AMS Studios is now online! I still haven't got a date set as to when it will be opening, but it should be soon. If you are unaware of what AMS Studios is, there is an article about us on AboutUs.org.

AMS Studios is the name of the company that officially own Solid Commands and Tokyo Crisis as well as Aaron’s other works, dating back years. Tortured Artist Productions (TAP) is the company owned and operated by Aaron, which produces movies and music related to comics produced by AMS Studios. It is said that they will also be launching a line of video tutorials which will teach anime-inspired and online comic artist the tools of trade.

Aaron Swafford, Chief Executive Officer and Artist at AMS Studios, who just started another company, TAP in mid 2007 is the owner of AMS Studios, an art studio located in Battle Creek, Michigan and hosted in Forth Worth, Texas. Hey guys! How have you all been? XD I’ve been really busy as of late! I’ve been busy with college, because it’s coming up on our last three weeks of classes and we’re taking finals and what not. You all know how that is, right? It’s mind wrecking! XD I can’t wait until I’m done. Also, I started working again, full-time, this past Tuesday. So, things might come here a little slow on my dA account for the next couple of weeks. This isn’t something to keep expecting however, I’m just trying to get use to my new schedule, seems how it’s gotten more packed.
Anyways, on to some other news! I started on a new project, which I don’t want to give away, that I’ve been working on for the past couple of weeks, yes it’s a comic - as I've been talking about it a bit on the forums, but the story is on lock! It’s going to be awesome! XD I hope anyways. >_< I’m not really a good writer, I don’t think. So I guess we’ll see when people read it. The new AMS Studio website should be opening up in about a month or so, so you all can check it out there, when it opens. Also, I’ve been working on the Spiderman sketch that I mentioned in my last journal and I’ve also been doing some character planning and background concepts which I think I can post some of these sketches here in a few days. I hope you all will like them. But until then, seems how it’s the weekend and I got time, I need to get back to drawing board!

Hi guys! Sorry for my week long absence. I had such a busy week this week. I had to study for two tests this week, and I think I did pretty good. Also, I had some major computer issues this week. My USB ports wasn’t recognizing my external HD (which has all of my homework, sketches, and animation projects on it that I didn't want to lose) but would still work with my Wacom pad, printer, and other stuff. So I spent all week trying to figure out what the deal was and trying fix my computer. And I finally managed to figure it out last night. XD
Anyways, its Spring Break now, so I have the rest of this week and all next week to draw. I had started on a sketch I think last weekend of the Spider-man 3 movie poster, but I wasn't really able to work on it that much. So I'm going to try to finish that up. This one is going to be really hard I think and have a lot of detail. I hope you all will like it. I'll be sure to post some WIP's soon.

Oh, and if you have any suggestions as to what I should draw next, I'd be happy to hear some ideas. Also, if you are interested in a commission, please note me for details.

Hey guys, just a quick update. I wanted to let you all know about a competition that is going on right now in the forums by . Hi guys! I'm back. Sorry it has taken me a while to update. I've been a little busy this weekend (looking at some new houses ) and I had a bad headache last night! But I'm feeling better now. Anyways, I started working on my new sketch of Jessica Alba Wednesday night and I was almost done with it last night, until I decided to try coloring it with colored pencils (trying something new here ) and ended up messing it up. So I had to start over this morning. You can check out the WIP here:



Also to mention, I took down my last two previous WIP's that I posted this week. dA wasn't letting me switch them back and forth from my "Recent Deviations" to my "Scraps". Is anyone else having this problem?

Welcome to my new gallery. This last couple of days have gone amazing and started out great. I'd like to give a big thanks to all of you who commented my Deviations, and me. It means a lot!
